Terms and Conditions for the Use of the CITA SANTEHNIKA Store Client Card and Client Profile Account
DEFINITIONS
Company: SIA "CITA SANTEHNIKA" (registration number 40003451144, legal address: G.ASTRAS 8-4, RIGA, LV-1082).
Website: www.citasantehnika.lv.
CITA SANTEHNIKA Store: a store located in Latvia and the CITA SANTEHNIKA online store located on the Website.
Privacy Policy: the Company's privacy policy, which can be found in the corresponding section.
Card: the CITA SANTEHNIKA client card issued in accordance with these terms.
Cardholder: the person who received the Card in accordance with these terms.
Client Profile Account: the Cardholder’s profile registered on the Website.
Commercial Notice: the CITA SANTEHNIKA newsletter containing information about CITA SANTEHNIKA card benefits, CITA SANTEHNIKA product promotions, the purchase of CITA SANTEHNIKA products, reminders about products, other CITA SANTEHNIKA marketing information (including, but not limited to, invitations to leave reviews, participate in surveys, or other activities), as well as personalized offers.
Customer Service: the CITA SANTEHNIKA customer service, which can be contacted by phone at +371 22008209 (during business hours) or by email at e-veikals@cita.lv.
Terms: these terms and conditions for the use of the CITA SANTEHNIKA client card.
General Terms
1.1. The Card grants the Cardholder the right to purchase products and/or services at CITA SANTEHNIKA stores at a special price indicated as "Price with client card" and to receive other Cardholder benefits.
Card Application
2.1. Any person (natural or legal) can apply for the Card.
2.2. On the day of submission, natural persons must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old.
2.3. Application can be made in two ways:
2.3.1. On the Website: By registering on the website, or
2.3.2. In a CITA SANTEHNIKA store: By filling out a paper form and submitting it to a CITA SANTEHNIKA store employee. The paper form will be digitized, and after digitization, only the digital copy of the application will be available (service will be available from December 31, 2025).
2.4. If a Client profile account is created (or already exists), the Card will be linked to this account if the Client applies for the Card digitally. Only a client card applied for on the Website will be linked to the Client profile account. Since the Card applied for on the Website is linked to the Client profile account, to receive the Card and create, maintain, and identify the Cardholder's account, valid email address, mobile phone number, first name, and last name are required. These personal data may also be used for other purposes (e.g., product delivery or sending Commercial notices if there is client consent). Detailed information is available in the Privacy Policy.
2.5. If the client does not want to create a Client profile account, they can receive only a physical plastic Card. In this case, the client's first and last name and email will be required to identify the Cardholder. If the client wants to receive Commercial notices in the form of SMS and has given consent, it is necessary to provide their mobile phone number in the Card application form.
2.6. Deleted.
2.7. By applying for the Card, the client confirms that they agree with the Terms and are informed about/aware of the Privacy Policy.
2.8. Subscribing to receive Commercial notices to the client's email and/or mobile phone during the Card application process is optional. The client can always opt out of receiving Commercial notices by using the Client profile account, clicking on the link at the bottom of the Commercial notice, contacting Customer service, or the Company's data protection officer via email at e-veikals@cita.lv.
2.9. Deleted.
2.10. After successfully completing the online Card application, the electronic client Card will be issued to the Cardholder in the following ways:
2.10.1. Sent to the Cardholder's email as an attachment (service available from December 31, 2025).
2.10.2. Available in the Client profile account (upon registration on the Website) as an image (service available from December 31, 2025).
2.11. The Cardholder can receive a plastic card at the store's Info center. The client pays 2.00 EUR for the plastic Card.
2.12. Deleted.
6.1. The Card is issued for an indefinite period until the Company cancels the validity of the Card.
6.2. If the customer deactivates the Customer profile account, the personal data associated with this Customer profile account will not be deleted. If the customer wishes to exercise their right to have personal data deleted, the customer may contact the Company using the contact details provided in section 3 of the Terms and specify that they wish to delete personal data. The Customer profile account may also be deleted along with the personal data, depending on the scope of the customer’s personal data deletion request.
6.3. While the Customer profile account is deactivated, the holder of the electronic Card cannot use this electronic Card when shopping on the Website, but the Customer can use the plastic Card or present (e.g., in printed form or on their phone) the electronic Card (this service will only be available from December 31, 2025).
6.4. While the Customer profile account is deactivated, the customer will not receive Commercial notifications to the email and/or mobile phone number associated with the Customer profile. However, if the Customer profile account is deactivated but the customer later subscribes to Commercial notifications (e.g., through Customer Service), the customer will again receive Commercial notifications to the last provided email and/or mobile phone number.
6.5. The customer can activate their Customer profile account at any time. If the customer activates their Customer profile account, they can once again use the electronic Card, and the sending of Commercial notifications will resume in the same manner as it did before the deactivation of the Customer profile account.
6.6. The Card has no monetary value. The Card cannot be used as a means of payment.
6.7. The electronic Card and Customer profile account cannot be transferred to another Customer.
6.8. The Card does not accumulate points, bonuses, or similar benefits for purchases made using the Card.
6.9. If the plastic Card is lost, a new Card can be obtained through the same process described in the Terms: at the CITA SANTEHNIKA Store Information Center or cashier for a fee of EUR 2.00. The Company reserves the right to unilaterally change the price of the plastic Card.
7.1. The Cardholder protects the registration data provided in their Customer profile account and does not disclose it to third parties.
7.2. The Cardholder assumes full responsibility for the improper or illegal use of their Card profile. The Cardholder assumes full responsibility in cases where the Card is given to third parties. If the customer's email or phone number has changed, the customer can update this information as follows: the email and phone number can be updated in the Customer profile on the Website by logging into the Customer profile account.
8.1. The Terms take effect on June 1, 2024, and apply throughout the territory of the Republic of Latvia.
8.2. The Terms remain in force until the Company revokes or amends them. The Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend the Terms in whole or in part at any time and to suspend or terminate the operation of the Customer Card system by notifying the Cardholders 10 calendar days in advance on the Website or, in certain cases, via email. If the Cardholder does not wish to continue using the Card under the amended Terms, the Cardholder has the right to discontinue use of the Card and delete/deactivate the Customer card profile account on the Website at any time.
